Producer and founder, Patrick Varley, picked up his first Pentax 35mm film camera before the age of 10, attending photograpghy, dark room and theater courses through summer school, camp and community programs. This sparked a lifetime of intrest into the art and technical aspects of film, photography. He also started his first DJ and live event company at the age of 12, running live and recorded audio for hundreds of events and studio sessions during his career. A jack of all trades behind the camera and a tripple threat on the stage and screen. in 2005 he moved to Los Angeles, to study film producing and acting. Throughout his time in LA, he studied in story development, art composition, color theory, lighting, sound, film law, contracts, distribution, stunt training, movement, coreography, voice and dialect, meisner tecnique, along with multiple camera and scene study courses. While in Los Angeles he had the extremely fortunate opertunity to work for the academy award winning sound studio, DaneTracks. Where he was able to work on blockbuster films, animated series and video games. Which subsiquently, that inspiration led to the deeper dive of starting Dogman Film Ops.
